The product line includes both residential and light commercial filter series, featuring full 1¼” and 2” plumbing connection options, large capacity filter configurations, and lightweight, cost-effective housing that is chemically compatible.
Ease of use is a key feature, with a simple cartridge change-out process that requires no tools. The system is designed to match up with varying flow rate requirements and offers an extended service life, efficient contaminant removal, and significant dirt-holding capacity. The low-pressure drop translates to high flow rates, making it ideal for a range of applications including residential, food service, rental fleets, and industrial settings. It's also suitable for make-up water, RO pre-filtration, cooling towers, chill water loops, and metal finishing, among other uses.

The core of this system is the ATOMUS® F11 and Z21 filtration media, specifically engineered for arsenic removal from potable water. These media have been rigorously tested and proven to provide maximum removal capacity and stability against pH fluctuations, thereby preventing the desorption of bound arsenic. They are certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61 and outperform other media in resisting interference from silica, phosphorus, and vanadium.
ATOMUS® F11, the powder form of the media, offers rapid kinetics, addressing arsenic in water streams in less than 30 seconds. In contrast, ATOMUS® Z21, the backwashable granular media, is used in Vortech® vessels and boasts a high arsenic loading capacity, longer life, and quicker reaction times.
The system effectively removes ARSENIC III and V, along with reducing phosphate, silica, chromium, lead, vanadium, and other heavy metals. It creates a non-leachable arsenic bond and is NSF 61 certified for drinking water use. The media is non-toxic, passing both USEPA TCLP^ and California WET Tests, and does not require chemicals or regeneration. The surface area of the media is superior, ensuring more than 99% contaminant removal.
Additional benefits include no imparted odor, taste, or color to water and no need for backwashing when using ATOMUS F11 cartridges. The system operates efficiently across a pH range of 5.5–9.5 and is less impacted by competing ions like silica, phosphorus, or vanadium.
Technical specifications include a dry granular media form, an Empty Bed Contact Time (EBCT) of 30 seconds to 3 minutes, a surface loading rate of up to 7 GPM/ft², and a specific gravity of approximately 0.8 g/cm³. The media's total adsorptive capacity is over 50 g/kg, with a surface area of more than 250 m2/g.
