- Targets Uranium. It's filled with ResinTech SBG2-HP, a high-purity Type 2 strong base anion resin made for removing contaminants like uranium from drinking water. Anion resin in the chloride form reduces uranium by more than 90%.
- Low Taste and Odor Risk. Type 2 anion resins are less prone to taste and odor than Type 1 resins, and SBG2-HP is WQA Gold Seal certified for drinking water.
- Smart Metered Valve. The electronic meter measures the water your home uses, and the front-panel display shows gallons remaining, days until the next regeneration, current flow rate, and total water used.
- Set Up for Uranium Resin. Anion resin is lighter than softener resin, so the backwash and salt settings are matched to it, and the valve regenerates at least once a month as uranium resin guidance recommends.
- Thorough Regeneration. Fully adjustable 6-cycle control cleans and recharges the resin bed, and settings are saved in memory so a power outage won't erase them.
- Certified Valve. The control valve is certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61, NSF/ANSI 44, and NSF/ANSI 372 for lead-free compliance, and runs on a safe, low-voltage 15V DC power supply.
- Test First, Pair if Needed. This system removes uranium, but it doesn't soften water or remove radium. If your test also shows hard water or radium, pair it with one of our water softeners. It works best when your water's pH is 6 or higher.
- Complete System. It includes the metered control valve, a bypass valve, a black polyglass mineral tank filled with uranium resin, and a brine tank. Just add plumbing connections.
