The Nelsen Poly-UF™ Ultrafiltration System brings membrane-grade filtration to residential and light-commercial water treatment, delivering protection down to an exceptional 0.02 micron at service flow rates up to 12 GPM. Built around ENPRESS' patented and industry-exclusive liner design, the internal UF module captures contaminants that conventional cartridge and media filters simply can't reach—colloids, bacteria, cysts, viruses, turbidity, tannins, and fine particulate—making it one of the most capable polishing technologies available for whole-home use.

Membrane technology

At the heart of the system is a patented polysulfone-based Outside/In ultrafiltration membrane, NSF 61 certified and engineered for turbidity reduction, cyst reduction, and fine-sediment filtration applications. Flow runs from the outside of the fibers inward, which minimizes the risk of deep clogging and allows the membrane surface to be cleaned simply with water and/or air. Its high surface-area-to-volume ratio enables a compact vessel, and the non-biodegradable membrane offers superior mechanical and chemical resistance. Because the high-surface-area UF bundles operate on normal line pressure, the system runs with low waste discharge during backwash and cleaning and maintains low pressure drop even at high service flow rates.
