- Ends the Rotten Egg Smell. An air pocket at the top of the tank oxidizes hydrogen sulfide and iron as water passes through, and the media bed filters them out. It's rated for up to 5 ppm of hydrogen sulfide and up to 7 ppm of iron.
- For Small Homes Only. This system is sized for homes with 1–2 bathrooms. The 5600 air injection valve is rated for 2.5–3.5 GPM of flow, which isn't enough for larger homes. Need a bigger system? - No Salt, No Chemicals. Air does the oxidizing, so there's no chlorine, permanganate, or salt to add, and no extra air tanks or feed pumps. It also adds dissolved oxygen to your water.
- Cleans Itself Daily. A daily automatic backwash flushes the trapped sulfur and iron down the drain and draws in a fresh air pocket for the next day.
- Easy-Read Digital Valve. The Fleck 5600 AIO SXT valve has a large LCD that alternates between time of day, volume remaining, and days until the next backwash, with a 48-hour backup capacitor that keeps time through an outage.
- Proven Fleck Design. The fiber-reinforced polymer valve runs a simple downflow cycle in a non-corrosive body.
- Test Before You Buy. If only your hot water smells, the water heater may be the cause, so check a cold tap first. This system works within 20–75 psi water pressure, needs a drain for the backwash, and doesn't soften water. For hard water, add a softener after it.
- Complete System. It includes the 5600 AIO SXT air injection valve, a 3/4" bypass valve, a 10x54 black mineral tank, and the filter media and support bed. Just add plumbing adapters. No brine tank needed.
