Description
The 3/8 Tube QC x 3/8 MNPT Swivel Elbow from Parker Hannifin combines three useful features in one fitting: a 90-degree turn, a quick-connect tube port, and a swiveling male NPT thread. The swivel action lets the tube side rotate freely after the threaded end is tightened, so you can orient the tubing exactly where you want it without straining the line. Molded from durable POM polymer, it weighs only 0.02 lbs and solves a frustration that fixed fittings often create.
Swivel Convenience
Fixed elbows can force awkward tube routing, but the swivel design here removes that headache entirely. Once the 3/8" male NPT end is threaded into a valve, housing, or pump port, the 3/8" push-to-connect tube side spins to the ideal angle, then accepts the tubing with a simple push. This flexibility is especially handy in tight equipment bays and crowded RO manifolds, where the difference of a few degrees can mean the difference between a clean run and a stressed, kinked line.
- Tube x male NPT (MIPT) swivel elbow
- Size: 3/8" tube QC x 3/8" MNPT
- Rotating swivel joint for stress-free tube alignment
- POM polymer construction resists corrosion and chemicals
- Quick-connect tube side installs without tools
- Threaded side seals with PTFE tape or sealant
To install, apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male NPT threads, then tighten the fitting into its port without over-torquing the polymer body. Rotate the swivel elbow to the desired orientation, square and deburr the 3/8" tube end, and press it into the quick-connect port until seated against the internal stop. The collet locks the tube under pressure, and you can release it later by pressing the collet ring inward. By relieving the tubing of twisting forces, the swivel joint also helps prevent long-term stress on the connection. A versatile, installer-friendly fitting from a name synonymous with fluid-system quality.
Because the swivel lets you fine-tune the tube angle after tightening, it is especially useful when working blind in confined spaces, where you cannot easily preset an orientation. Add a few of these swivel elbows to your kit and you will have the flexibility to route 3/8" tubing cleanly out of even the most awkward threaded ports.
