Why Choose the VIQUA Whole-House UV System?
The VIQUA Ultraviolet Whole House UV System provides a proven final barrier against microbes using high-output UV-C light — without chemicals or changes to taste and odor. Installed at the point-of-entry after sediment and carbon filtration, it protects every tap with consistent UV dose performance sized to your home’s peak flow (GPM).
Built around a stainless reactor and a protective quartz sleeve to maximize UV transmittance (UVT), the system is engineered for reliability and ease of service. Commissioning is straightforward, and routine maintenance is minimal: replace the lamp annually and inspect/clean the sleeve as needed.
Placement & Sizing Tips
- Install after sediment & carbon stages (final barrier)
- Target ≥95% UVT; keep iron/manganese low to protect the sleeve
- Size by peak flow (GPM) to maintain required mJ/cm² dose
- Replace lamp annually; clean the quartz sleeve as needed
Common Questions
Does UV add chemicals? No — UV is chemical-free and does not alter taste/odor.
Does this remove sediment or chlorine? No — use upstream filtration; UV handles disinfection.
Power outages? Consider a bypass or UPS to maintain service if necessary.
