C-Series Water Systems
Composite air-injection AIO — chemical-free iron & sulfur
The C-Series is a composite, corrosion-proof AIO valve built for the toughest well water. It pulls a pocket of air into the tank to oxidize dissolved iron and rotten-egg sulfur, then backwashes it away — no salt, no chemicals, no chlorine. The non-metallic body shrugs off aggressive water that corrodes metal valves.
C-Series valve heads & hardware we stock
| C-Series AIO control-flow head | composite (non-metallic) valve that draws an air pocket to oxidize iron & sulfur — no chemicals |
| C-Series backwashing filter head | self-cleaning control for Katalox, carbon and neutralizer media |
| C-Series metered options | time-clock and metered configurations for well applications |
C-Series is best for: well water iron, sulfur and manganese — chemical-free. And with the right media it also handles iron, sulfur/rotten-egg odor, manganese and staining — the C-Series head with the matched oxidizing media.
One brand, every water issue — the media does the work
Here's the thing most stores won't tell you: the tank and valve are a platform — what actually removes your specific contaminant is the media inside. Lead needs KDF-55; arsenic needs an iron-based adsorbent; fluoride needs activated alumina; chloramine needs catalytic carbon; iron and sulfur need Katalox with an air pocket. So C-Series can solve all 48 of the water problems we treat — we simply load the C-Series head with the media matched to your issue, and size the head for what that media needs (metered for softening, air-draw backwash for iron, the right backwash flow for filter media).
Matched-brand systems — never a mongrel build
When you buy a complete C-Series system from us, every valve head in it is C-Series. A C-Series softener pairs with a C-Series carbon filter and a C-Series iron filter — one consistent platform, so parts, service and programming are the same across your whole system. We don't bolt a different brand's head onto a C-Series build.
Why genuine, brand-name hardware beats a sealed house brand
A lot of big sellers hide the valve brand and sell you a sealed proprietary system — great for their margin, bad for you when you need a part in ten years. We sell the genuine C-Series hardware: recognizable, serviceable by any water professional, with parts available for decades. You're never locked to one company to keep your water running.
How the media is matched to your issue
Every C-Series system starts with a water problem, then gets the media proven to solve it: Katalox Light or greensand for iron and manganese; a catalytic air pocket for rotten-egg sulfur; 10% cross-linked cation resin for hardness; catalytic carbon for chlorine and chloramine; KDF-55 for lead and heavy metals; activated alumina for fluoride; nitrate-selective anion resin for nitrate; calcite to neutralize acidic water. The C-Series head is then configured for what that media needs — regeneration for resin, air-draw backwash for oxidizing media, or a simple cartridge swap. Same trusted brand, the right chemistry inside.
Sizing your C-Series system
Getting the size right matters as much as the brand. For a softener we size the grain capacity to your water hardness multiplied by the people in your home — most households land on a 32,000 to 64,000 grain unit, and a metered C-Series head keeps salt and water use lean by regenerating only when the resin is spent. For a filter we size the tank to your peak flow (bathrooms and fixtures running at once) so you never starve the shower. Not sure? Send us your water test or hardness number and we'll size it for free.
C-Series — frequently asked
Can I get parts and service years from now? Yes — that's the whole point of a genuine C-Series valve. Parts are widely stocked and any water pro can work on it, unlike sealed house-brand systems.
Do I have to keep the whole system one brand? For a matched combo, yes — every head is C-Series so service is consistent. Standalone units can of course be mixed across your home.
Which media do I need? That depends on your water, not the brand — tell us your problem (or send a test) and we'll load the C-Series head with the exact media that fixes it, and size it correctly.
