NWS Con. Flow AIO 12"x52" w/Katalox

The NWS Control Flow AIO 12"x52" with Katalox-Light® is a high-capacity multi-contaminant system from Nelsen Water Treatment Solutions, built to reduce iron, sulfur, and manganese together. Its 12" x 52" polyglass tank carries a generous 2 cubic feet of Katalox-Light® media for robust, dependable whole-house treatment in larger homes.

Katalox-Light® media also addresses arsenic, hydrogen sulfide, and other metals — and it does so without potassium permanganate or chlorine. Paired with air injection oxidation and metered Control Flow Technology, the system delivers comprehensive treatment while regenerating only when household water use actually requires it, conserving water and keeping operation efficient.

Performance Profile

Katalox-Light® offers low pressure loss, high service and flow rates, and high bed loadings with reduced backwash frequency. It can run at up to 12 gpm per square foot in a single vessel and needs only 5 to 10 minutes of backwash at 5.5 gpm per square foot. The 12-inch tank adds the flow capacity larger homes need to serve multiple fixtures at once. Supplied by Water Softener Plus and installed at the point of entry, this system handles complex well-water chemistry efficiently — add your chosen adapters to complete the installation.

Plan the installation at the point of entry so all incoming water is treated before reaching fixtures, the water heater, or any downstream softener. The Katalox-Light media bed benefits from a stable backwash flow, so size your drain line accordingly and ensure adequate water pressure for the periodic rinse. Because the media handles several contaminants at once, this single system can often replace a more complicated multi-stage setup, simplifying both the install and long-term upkeep.
