Its AIO Plus control valve supports independently programmable air-draw and backwash cycles, so a fresh air pocket can be drawn daily without forcing a backwash, saving thousands of gallons each year. A slow release of the compressed air charge before backwash prevents the explosive surge that can knock loose drain lines on lesser systems.
