Beschrijving

The genuine Pentair Fleck Injector, size #4, is built for 7000-series and Fleck 5810/5812 control valves operating on larger tanks. Like all Fleck injectors, it works by accelerating water through a narrow venturi to create a vacuum on the brine line, drawing concentrated salt brine into the resin bed to recharge the softener. As the largest of the commonly stocked sizes, it belongs to the Fleck Injector service family and is matched to the 5812 valve.

The Largest in the Common Range

The #4 injector provides greater brine-draw capacity than lower-numbered sizes, suiting it to the bigger tank diameters and higher flow rates found in larger residential and light-commercial softeners. Injector size must scale with tank diameter because a larger media bed needs more brine drawn through it to be fully regenerated. Using the size specified for your tank ensures the brine is drawn at the correct rate so every part of the bed is recharged, while an undersized injector on a big tank can leave portions of the resin only partially regenerated.

  • Genuine Fleck #4 injector for 7000 and 5810/5812 valves
  • High-capacity venturi suction for larger systems
  • Sized for bigger-diameter softener tanks
  • Direct replacement for worn or fouled injectors
  • Restores full, efficient regeneration cycles
  • Precision-machined for reliable draw

Because injectors are precision parts with very small internal passages, scale, sediment, and iron can choke them and cause weak brine draw, which lets hard water slip through even on a properly programmed system. Replacing the injector is one of the most common and cost-effective softener repairs, and on larger systems it is well worth keeping a spare on hand to minimize downtime. Confirm the #4 size matches your tank requirements before installing, clean the injector screen during installation so debris doesn't immediately foul the new part, and relieve system pressure before opening the injector cap. With the correct injector seated, your softener will draw its full brine charge and deliver consistent soft water. Because the injector is inexpensive compared with the disruption of a softener that has stopped working, keeping the correct size on the shelf for your large system is a smart, low-cost insurance policy against downtime.
