How the two stages work together
Water hits Stage 1 first — the catalytic carbon filter strips chlorine, chloramine, taste and odor from city water. It then flows into Stage 2, where the water softener removes the calcium & magnesium hardness that scales pipes, water heaters and fixtures. Treating in this order is what keeps the softening resin clean and the whole system low-maintenance.

Choose your size above: 32,000 grains / 1.0 cu ft (1–3 baths), 48,000 grains / 1.5 cu ft (4–6 baths), or 64,000 grains / 2.0 cu ft (6+ baths). Send a water test or your symptoms and we size both stages to your flow at no charge.
