Deskripsi
The FL15413 is a Fleck Male Elbow fitting, 3/8" MIPT x 1/2" tube, a genuine Pentair connector used in the tubing runs of Fleck control valves and brine systems. This 90-degree elbow joins 3/8" male iron pipe threads to 1/2" tubing, letting you route brine or drain line cleanly around tight corners while maintaining a secure, leak-resistant connection. The combination of a threaded end and a tube-fitting end makes it a versatile transition wherever the valve plumbing changes direction.
This individual elbow has been discontinued but remains available in the FL60381-03 and FL60381-04 service kits, which group it with the fittings and small parts technicians typically replace together during a valve or brine-line rebuild. Sourcing it through the kit keeps a full complement of fresh fittings on hand for the job.
- Genuine Fleck male elbow fitting
- 3/8" MIPT thread to 1/2" tube connection
- 90-degree bend for tight tubing routing
- Used on brine and drain line runs
- Available in kits FL60381-03 and FL60381-04
- Combines pipe-thread and tube-fitting ends
Clean, leak-free tubing connections are essential to proper softener operation. A loose or cracked brine-line fitting can introduce air into the system, weaken brine draw, or cause drips around the equipment that lead to water damage or salt buildup. Because the brine line carries a corrosive salt solution, fittings here see demanding service and can become brittle or develop leaks over time.
The 90-degree geometry of this elbow lets the tubing turn sharply without kinking, which is often necessary in the confined space around a softener's brine tank and valve. Replacing a brittle, cracked, or leaking fitting with the correct genuine part ensures the connection seals reliably and the brine system performs as designed. Using OEM fittings throughout the tubing run gives the most consistent, dependable result and helps keep regeneration efficient.
For installers rebuilding a brine line, sourcing this elbow through the FL60381-series kits ensures a full set of fresh, correctly matched fittings is available so the entire tubing run can be renewed at once. Because brine-line leaks and air intrusion are common causes of weak regeneration, taking the time to replace brittle fittings with genuine parts is a small investment that pays off in consistent, trouble-free brine draw and a tidy, drip-free installation.
