Deskripsi
The 16" x 65" 1.5" Composite Control AIO from Nelsen Water Solutions brings air-injection filtration together with a durable composite control valve for whole-house iron, sulfur, and manganese reduction. Its patented air-injection process slowly releases the compressed air pocket and delays regeneration when water is flowing, helping protect the drain line and conserve water. The corrosion-resistant composite valve body is a practical advantage in humid basements and mechanical rooms where metal components can corrode over time.
This system ships without media so installers can match the bed to a specific application using the included media selection chart. For a 16" tank, that ranges from 2 cu. ft. of Birm or Centaur for sulfur up to 4 cu. ft. of Katalox-Light® (rated to about 15 gpm service flow). Included components are the NWS 1-1/2" Composite Control with Control Flow Technology, a remote meter, a gravel underbed, and the 16" x 65" mineral tank, giving you a complete tank-and-valve foundation ready for the media of your choice.
Media Selection Highlights
- 16" x 65" mineral tank, media sold separately
- NWS 1-1/2" Composite Control with Control Flow Technology
- Sulfur (Birm/Centaur): ~2 cu. ft.; Iron (Birm): ~4 cu. ft.
- Katalox-Light®: ~4 cu. ft. at up to 15 gpm service flow
- Remote meter and gravel underbed included
- Shipping weight: approximately 135 lbs (less media)
The composite valve resists corrosion while the 1-1/2" porting supports robust residential flow for busy homes. In operation the system injects air to oxidize contaminants, backwashes to rinse the bed, and returns to service on a metered, demand-based schedule. Use the media chart to choose Birm, Centaur, or Katalox-Light® based on your water analysis, then add plumbing connections to complete a chemical-free oxidation filter tuned precisely to your home.
The included media selection chart takes the guesswork out of sizing: simply locate your target contaminant and the 16" tank column to find the recommended cubic footage and resulting service flow. This makes the composite-valve AIO approachable even for installers newer to air-injection systems. With the corrosion-resistant valve body and metered regeneration, the unit is built to deliver years of reliable, low-maintenance service in the damp environments where water-treatment equipment typically lives.
