← All parts indexes by model number

Pentek and Pentair filter housings are identified by size and connection rather than by a single model number — a 10-inch Big Blue with a 1-inch inlet is a different part from a 20-inch with the same inlet, and the cartridge that fits one will not fit the other. The number you need is usually printed on the housing sump or on the label around the cap.

The list below is grouped by the product family named in each item's own title, with part numbers, so that housings, caps, sumps and cartridges can be told apart by number. Sizes are stated as the manufacturer states them; measure your existing cartridge if you are working from an installed system rather than from paperwork.

Cartridges are the routine replacement here and are sized by both length and diameter. Housings themselves rarely fail, but their O-rings and pressure-relief buttons do, and those are the parts most often needed to stop a slow leak at the cap.

Ordering notes for housings and cartridges

Order cartridges by measured length and diameter rather than by the name of the system they sit in. Housing O-rings and pressure-relief buttons are the parts most often needed to cure a weeping cap, and both are far cheaper than the housing itself. United States shipping is included in the listed price.
