The Pentair Fleck Injector for 7000-series valves is a precision-machined flow component that creates the suction needed to draw brine from the salt tank during regeneration. How the Injector Works

Water passing through the narrow injector throat speeds up and drops in pressure, creating a vacuum on the brine line. That vacuum is what lifts the salt solution out of the brine tank and carries it into the media, where sodium ions displace the calcium and magnesium that cause hardness.
