Descrizione
Yellow or tea-colored water with a musty taste is usually tannins from decaying vegetation — common on wells and surface water. This complete system clears the color and the taste with a full tank/valve/resin build, not just media.
How it works
Tannin-selective anion resin binds the dissolved organic tannins and regenerates with salt on a metered valve. Because tannins and hardness usually travel together, this system pairs perfectly with a softener for water that is both soft and clear.
Your complete system — everything included
- Tannin-selective anion resin (Purolite A860 grade)
- Fiberglass mineral tank + brine tank
- Metered backwashing control valve
- Gravel underbed, distributor tube & basket
- Bypass valve & installation adapters
- Pairs with a water softener for combined hardness + tannin (ask us to bundle)
Sized to your home
1–3 Bathrooms: 1.0–1.5 cu ft (~8–10 GPM). 4–6 Bathrooms: 2.0 cu ft (~15 GPM). A quick water test confirms tannins vs. iron — both stain.
