Description

The NWS15PL 210K Twin Alternating system from Nelsen Water Solutions brings high-capacity, uninterrupted softening together with the corrosion resistance of composite valves. Two 210,000-grain NWS15PL time-clock systems alternate so that one tank stays in service while the other regenerates, ensuring soft water never stops flowing, even under the heavy demand of larger homes and light-commercial sites.

High capacity, composite construction

Each tank uses a 1-1/2" plastic composite valve, which resists corrosion and chemical attack better than metal in aggressive or chlorinated water, an advantage that pays off over years of high-volume service. A 1-1/2" composite electronic meter tracks actual consumption for demand-based regeneration, and a Nelsen 1-1/2" MAV (Motorized Alternating Valve) automatically alternates service between the two tanks. The metered, alternating design keeps soft water available continuously while avoiding the salt and water waste of fixed-timer regeneration.

  • Two 210,000-grain NWS15PL tanks, twin alternating design
  • 1-1/2" composite (plastic) valve bodies
  • 1-1/2" composite electronic meter for demand regen
  • Nelsen 1-1/2" MAV for seamless tank alternation
  • 24x50 commercial brine tank included
  • Brine tank with Nelsen 484 safety valve, air check, overflow elbow, 5" brine well and cap

A 24x50 commercial brine tank is included, fitted with a Nelsen 484 commercial safety valve, an air check, an overflow elbow, and a 5" brine well with cap, providing salt storage matched to the system's output. Demand-initiated regeneration conserves salt and water by cycling only when softening capacity is used, an important efficiency benefit at this scale where regeneration volumes are substantial. Proper sizing to your hardness and peak flow, plus consistent salt maintenance, keeps both tanks at full output. For large homes and light-commercial sites that need always-available soft water with durable composite valves, this Nelsen NWS15PL 210K system is built to perform.

Routine ownership is simple: keep the brine tank supplied with quality salt, periodically check for and break up any salt bridging, and occasionally verify that the metered control is regenerating at sensible intervals for your usage. The high-capacity resin and commercial-grade components in this Nelsen system are built for years of dependable service, and demand-initiated regeneration means the unit works efficiently rather than wasting salt and water on a rigid schedule.
