Beschreibung
The 21" X 62" NWS 1.5" Composite Control AIO is a high-capacity air-injection filter from Nelsen Water Solutions, combining a large mineral tank with a rugged composite control valve. Its patented air-injection design releases the compressed air pocket slowly and delays regeneration whenever water is being used, protecting the drain line and limiting wasted water. The deep bed and corrosion-resistant valve make it a durable solution for larger homes and properties with heavier contaminant loads.
This unit ships less media so installers can match the bed to the water analysis using the included chart. A 21" tank commonly takes 3.5 cu. ft. of Birm or Centaur for sulfur (about 12 gpm), 7 cu. ft. of Birm for iron, or 7 cu. ft. of Katalox-Light® rated near 26 gpm service flow. Supplied components include the NWS 1-1/2" Composite Control with Control Flow Technology, a remote meter, a gravel underbed, and the 21" x 62" mineral tank, providing a complete platform ready for your chosen media.
Sizing Guidance
- 21" x 62" mineral tank, media sold separately
- NWS 1-1/2" Composite Control with Control Flow Technology
- Sulfur (Birm/Centaur): ~3.5 cu. ft. at about 12 gpm
- Katalox-Light®: ~7 cu. ft. up to roughly 26 gpm service flow
- Remote meter and gravel underbed included
- Shipping weight: approximately 325.67 lbs
With its deep bed and 1-1/2" valving, this AIO is built for larger residences and properties facing heavier iron or sulfur loads, all without chlorine or potassium permanganate. The system automatically draws air, backwashes the bed, and returns to service on a metered schedule for hands-off operation. Choose your media from the chart, add the right plumbing connections, and you have a corrosion-resistant, chemical-free oxidation filter sized to the home and its peak water demand.
For larger homes and light commercial jobs, the 21" composite-valve AIO delivers serious capacity while keeping the corrosion resistance that makes composite valves attractive in humid mechanical rooms. Use the media chart to dial in Birm, Centaur, or Katalox-Light® based on the measured water profile, then let the metered control handle regeneration on a demand basis. The result is a durable, scalable platform that dealers can configure for a wide spectrum of iron and sulfur conditions from a single stocked tank.
